It refers to physical and mental condition of a teenager who receives long-term patient services or who resides in an institutional setting. For the guarantee of health care in inpatient units it is suggested that the health care team is comprised of physician, nurse, dentist, psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist, nursing assistant and dentistry. Care should be performed in a clinic located within the unit, ensuring the access of adolescents to medium and high complexity care. |
